Our Mission is to provide excellent chiropractic care and a level of caring that wows people in order to help build a healthier and happier community.
Are You Looking for a Great Chiropractor Near You?
A natural solution to healthcare needs with a large emphasis on education. Our current healthcare system is often set-up to merely relieve symptoms, not looking to the cause and correction of dis-ease. This quick fix mentality has contributed to our great nation’s current dilemma regarding healthcare. Ailments become chronic, costs continue to rise and a solution is rarely found. The patient is seldom involved in the process and can feel frustrated and stuck.
In our office, we include our practice members in the process. We encourage you to look within at the Amazing Dr. You. We provide wellness workshops at no charge to our practice members and their families. We advocate for you to learn about what YOU can do to live life at your fullest potential. We see many children in our practice because true health care can never begin too soon.
Our experience in practice has shown us that many people in our modern world are overloaded with stimulus. Their neural circuits have “blown fuses”. When people have an overload of stimulus that they cannot adapt to: physical, chemical and/or emotional, their bodies and minds don’t work as well as they could. As people receive this extraordinarily gentle chiropractic care, they feel freer, more flexible, clear headed and happy. They have more of themselves back.
We have trained extensively in newer, gentle low force and non manipulative techniques, as well as traditional chiropractic techniques. Through specific adjustments along your spine, tension is released from your nerve system, thus allowing your body to experience more of its potential. We have had the honor of adjusting brand new babies and hundred year old patients in the 26+ years we have practiced.
Our Doctors
Dr. Pam Jarboe
Dr. Pam Jarboe began her career in chiropractic when she worked as an assistant for a chiropractor in 1986. She soon traveled into Harlem, NY with her chiropractor who was caring for children who were drug addicted. Some of these poor children, born with AIDS, were abandoned as babies. They suffered greatly with many health issues as well as emotional problems. As they received adjustments, Pam witnessed them transform. They suddenly had less disease, less trauma. They transitioned from hiding under the beds, being terrified to be touched to jumping into her arms.
Inspired by the many changes she witnessed in this practice, especially in children, she decided to attend Life Chiropractic University. She graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1995. Dr. Pam specializes in extraordinarily gentle chiropractic care. This can mean that it is as gentle as the amount of pressure you would use to squeeze a tomato. She seeks to allow the nerve system to fully coordinate with all the cells, organs and functions in the body. She values giving each person she cares for the very best chance to express life and vitality. Over the years, she has studied and offered her patients chiropractic techniques such as Network Spinal Analysis, BGI, Thompson, Activator, and Diversified. Dr. Pam also studied the use of the Webster technique to stabilize the pelvis of pregnant moms who have breech baby presentations. Dr. Pam serves as a board member for several chiropractic organizations and an international speaker for the profession. Her proudest contributions though are her two sons, Jackson and Max.
Dr. Emily Loughery
Dr. Emily grew up in Telford, PA with her parents and three siblings. Growing up, she loved to go to the chiropractor with her parents to watch them get adjusted. She finally got her first adjustment when she was ten years old. Being a gymnast, her chiropractor taught her and her parents how chiropractic is essential for optimal healing and injury prevention. In high school, Dr. Emily shadowed her chiropractor and learned about the body’s innate ability to heal. After this experience, she made it her mission to become a chiropractor to teach others about the healing power in their body.
She accepted an athletic scholarship to West Chester University where she studied exercise science while competing for WCU’s varsity women’s gymnastics team. Dr. Emily excelled both in the gym and in the classroom, competing in three national championships and earning several scholastic all-American honors along the way. She earned her bachelor’s degree, graduating with honors, in 2019.
Dr. Emily attended Life University in Marietta, GA for chiropractic school. During her time there, she found her passion for taking care of families. She took extra coursework in pediatric chiropractic care and perinatal care and attained her certification in the Webster technique. She also trained with some of the best chiropractors in the country, developing her skills in gentle and honoring adjustments for people of all ages and sizes. She earned her doctor of chiropractic degree, graduating with honors, in 2023.
Dr. Emily continues to develop her skills by attending yearly seminars, is dedicated to improving her service to her patients and attends seminars around the world as a student and as a teacher. As a leader in the profession, she is committed to personal excellence. Her mission as a chiropractor is to help others feel safe in their own body. She believes that a community free of interference may fully express quality of life and uplift the world around it.
In her free time, Dr. Emily loves to spend time out in the sun. She especially loves to be by water, whether it be a lake, river, or the beach. She loves to take pilates or spin classes to stay fit and enjoys cooking healthy meals.
Our Team
Sarah Bossi
Sarah has been working closely with Dr. Pam Jarboe as a Chiropractic Assistant for 8+ years. This Disney-loving wife and mom of 2 was first introduced to chiropractic when she responded to a job ad titled “Looking for a Superhero.” When she accepted the job, she never realized the profound impact it would have on her life and how she would be able to touch so many others’ lives in the process. Starting as a new patient advocate, Sarah witnessed the miracle of chiropractic care for infants struggling to latch, to elders looking for more pep in their step.
Sarah learned early on in her career about the vital importance of patient education and case management. She helped a 9 year old with severe neurological challenges receive chiropractic care and watched the child transform. With each adjustment, Sarah saw more joy and life in her eyes – the girl would smile, sign “more,” and hold onto the doctor. Unfortunately, she did not continue with care and it broke Sarah’s heart. It was a turning point in Sarah’s career to strive for patients to more fully understand and value chiropractic care for themselves and their families. It has been an absolute honor for Sarah to be a part of this wonderful community knowing that her role in the office creates ripple waves worldwide.
Sharon Noonan
Sharon Noonan joined Community Chiropractic of Acton as a Chiropractic Advocate in March of 2023, and has also been a patient of Dr. Pam’s for the past 2 years. She formerly worked in Higher Education for 20 years as a Registrar at a University in Boston, excelling in chaos coordination. She exudes caring as the Daily Happiness Genie and is passionate about helping and supporting all of the amazing patients in the practice and witnessing the positive impact and life changing effects that happen under chiropractic care. In her spare time she loves to read, explore nature, and spend time outdoors with her two sons, Patrick, (11 years old) and Ryan (13 years old).
COVID-19 Safety Protocols
- Our staff has done repeated training on CDC guidelines.
- If you are sick or fevered or have been exposed, you must stay home.
- We have PPE equipment for doctors and staff.
- You must keep your scheduled time in order for us to keep to our guidelines!
- There is no longer a waiting time. If there are more than 10 cars ( this accounts for our neighbors and our team) in the lot, please text or call the office to see if it’s okay to enter.
- Every morning and evening, the floors, furniture and doorknobs, and walls are sanitized. High touch areas are also sanitized every hour.
- We honor the 6 feet of distance guideline.
- Reception chairs have been removed to accommodate new guidelines.
- All the children’s toys have been removed. If you have children with you, please consider bringing a toy or book to keep them engaged during your adjustment.
- If you see more than 10 cars in the lot, wait in your car and either call or text us to let us know you are here. We will let you know when it is your turn.
- We recommend that you NOT wear a mask when face down on the table. Our bodies need oxygen and the masks have us breathing carbon dioxide. We respect your choice but do not recommend it during your adjustment.
